Flexible Resistors 
Custom made reproduction flexible resistors as used in many 1920's and 1930's radio receivers like Philco and Atwater Kent.

They are made as close as possible to the original patterns, subject to the use of modern materials the only limitation is the sleeving diameters which can only be 2mm or 4mm.

The low ohmic value flexible resistors are constructed from spiral resistance wire on a core covered in silicone sleeving and then covered in woven glass fibre braid. The high ohmic value, flexible resistors are constructed using a metal oxide film, and have a different construction internally, externally they all look the same.

 
Different colour braids are available as is custom marking i.e. body colour flex, and bands/dots. The ends can be supplied either with crimped ferrules or pig-tail's (again crimped).
     
  Ordering These items are made "to order" and can be made to customers own specifications or supply the old resistor and we will copy it.

We will need the following information:

       
    Ohmic Value 0.1 Ohm to 10 MOhm
    Length Min 25mm max 300mm (1 Inch - 12 Inch)
    Body Colour Buff, Red, Green, Blue, Black, Yellow
    Markings Bands, Dots or Numerals
    Terminations Ferrules or Pig-Tails
